Rtn. Joshy Chacko, a distinguished member of the Rotary Club of Perumbavoor Central, hails from an esteemed family and was born to the late Mr. M.C. Chacko and Mrs. Rosy Chacko in Perumbavoor. After completing his primary education at Ashram High School, Perumbavoor, and Bharatha Matha College, Thrikkakara, he pursued Mechanical Engineering at R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore.
Currently, Rtn. Joshy Chacko holds the position of Managing Director at M/s Metply Industries and M/s RNS Fuels - a Petroleum Dealer of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
Rotary Involvement:
Rtn. Joshy Chacko became a charter member of the Rotary Club of Perumbavoor Central in 2008. He served as the Charter President during the charter year 2008-09 and continued as President for an additional term in 2009-10. He was elected as Rotary Assistant Governor for two terms in 2012-13 and 2015-16. His outstanding contributions earned him recognition as the Outstanding Governor’s Group Representative in 2011-12 and Best Assistant Governor in the year 2012-13.
During the 2014-15 Rotary year as Sponsorship Chair of the District Conference "Thejus," he raised over $25,000 USD for the Rotary Foundation and successfully managed the $80,000 USD Global Grant Project "Parivarthan"; in 2016-17, while serving as TRF Vice Chair, he facilitated the participation of all Rotary clubs in district 3205 in this global grant project.
Rotary District Level Contributions:
Rtn. Joshy Chacko has undertaken various Rotary District assignments, including roles such as Regional Chairman, Governor’s Group Representative, Rotary Foundation Vice Chair, Dist. Adult Literacy Chair, Dist. Training Team Member, Dist. RI Priorities Chairman, Dist. Fellowship Meet Chair, District Director, District Chief Coordinator, and District Secretariat Member.
Rtn. Joshy Chacko is known for his commitment and consistent success in accomplishing his work with 100% success rate. He has chaired numerous Rotary district events such as PELS, AGLS, DOLS, District Conference, District Assembly, Various seminars , he conducted in Rotary District 3201 for the past few years .
He also serves as the President of the Kerala State Petroleum Traders Association - Ernakulam District and is a life member of YMCA and Rifle Club Idukki. He attended Rotary International conventions in Bangkok (2012), Atlanta, USA (2017) and Singapore (2024).
He is a Major Donor , Paul harris society member and Sustaining member of Rotary foundation.
Hobbies:
His hobbies include Cricket and shuttle Badminton both of which he represented his college team and won various tournaments.
Family:
Rtn. Joshy Chacko is happily married to Ninju who is a home maker and blessed with three children.
Ross – After completing her Engineering and MBA she is now working in a MNC at Cochin.
James – After completing his BCOM and MBA , he is now working with the Aditya Birla Group in Chennai

Davis – He is in his Final year Electronics Engineering at Rajagiri Engineering college, Kakkanad.
